1. Tell the Truth

There’s no “perfect” love story — and you don’t need one. What matters is honesty, clarity, and consistency with the rest of your application.

2. Think in Chapters

Break your story into time periods: how you met, how your relationship developed, how you live now, and your plans for the future.

This helps you stay organised — and helps the case officer follow your timeline.

3. Cover All Four Aspects of the Relationship

Don’t just focus on how in love you are. Show how you share finances, make decisions together, support each other, and build a life as a team.

4. Use Specific Examples

Instead of saying “We love spending time together,” try:

“On weekends, we cook dinner together and watch our favourite show, which is currently The Bear.”
